Privacy and Cookies

This notice explains which personal data fungiot.com processes and why, under Turkish data protection law (KVKK, Law No. 6698).

What we process

  • Contact form: your name, email address or phone number, message, time sent, IP address and, if you came from a Google ad, the ad keyword.
  • Newsletter: your email address, language, sign-up time and IP address.
  • When you call, email or message us on WhatsApp: the contact details and messages you share.
  • Site statistics: pages you visit, time on page, scroll depth, the referring site or ad keyword, browser, device type and country/city. Collected with Umami on our own server, without cookies and without storing your IP address.
  • Ad measurement (only if you accept): Google Ads cookies and the ad click ID.
  • Session recording (only if you accept): your clicks, scrolling and mouse movement on the page, via Microsoft Clarity. What you type into forms is not recorded.

Purpose and legal basis

  • Replying to you and preparing quotes: necessary for entering into a contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c).
  • Logging IP addresses to prevent form abuse: our legitimate interest (art. 5/2-f).
  • Seeing how the site is used through cookieless, anonymous statistics: our legitimate interest (art. 5/2-f).
  • Sending the newsletter, measuring our ads and session recording: your explicit consent (art. 5/1).

Transfers

Form messages reach us through our email provider, Zoho. If you accept cookies, measurement data is sent to Google (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) and Microsoft (Microsoft Clarity). Site statistics (Umami) stay on our own server. These services may store data outside Türkiye; such transfers rely on your consent. We do not sell your data.

Retention

We keep form and correspondence records until your request is settled and legal retention periods end, and newsletter sign-ups until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

  • Necessary: a small entry in your browser that remembers your cookie choice. No consent needed.
  • Ad measurement (Google Ads): used only if you click "Accept". If you reject, Google receives cookieless signals that do not identify you.
  • Session recording (Microsoft Clarity): used only if you click "Accept".
  • Videos: when you play an embedded YouTube video, YouTube (Google) may use its own cookies.

Your rights

Under KVKK art. 11 you can ask whether we process your data, request details, correction or deletion, object, and withdraw consent. Write to ahmetadin@fungiot.com; we reply within 30 days.
