A mine with poor coverage, a plant spread over scattered buildings, kilometres of farmland or a pipeline. Cabling devices there is expensive, and connecting them over GSM means a bill every month.

With LoRa-based radio, your devices send data to each other and to a gateway from up to 12 km away, with no SIM card or subscription. Range depends on terrain, antenna height and obstacles, so we assess the site with you before installation.

What we do

  1. 03.1

    End-to-end LoRa systems

We design the field nodes, the gateway and the server that collects the data together.

  2. 03.2

    Site assessment

We try antenna placement and real-world range on site before installation.

  3. 03.3

    Low power

We design devices that only wake when needed and can run on batteries for a long time.

  4. 03.4

    Connection to existing systems

We forward incoming data to your own server, dashboard or PLC.

From the workshop

Selected work

Our own products and things we built for clients.

Our product · 150+ devices in the field

Earthquake early warning network

DS Mini detects the seismic wave; DS Pro builds its own communication network in the field. Board, firmware, LoRa radio and server side are all ours, with more than 150 devices deployed.

Our product

GSM pump controller

A 4-relay GSM controller that switches a field water pump from a phone, with run confirmation, power-outage alerts and schedules. Board, enclosure and app are ours.

How we work

From idea to delivery

Short steps and an early prototype instead of long proposals. At the end of each step we look at what is ready together.

  1. 01

    Intro

We listen to what you want to build: on the phone, on a video call or at the workshop.

  2. 02

    Design

We plan the circuit, board, enclosure and firmware, and pin down the scope.

  3. 03

    Prototype

We build the first device in our workshop, bring it up on the bench and test it.

  4. 04

    Field trial

We try the device in real conditions and fix what the feedback shows.

  5. 05

    Handover and support

Production-ready files, installation and firmware updates afterwards.

Who you talk to

The person on the phone is the person designing your board. No middlemen, no sales team.

  • Ahmet Adin

    Ahmet Adin

Founder · Electronics and embedded firmware engineer

Electrical and electronics engineer. Previously developed vehicle diagnostic device firmware for a US company; that firmware runs on more than 7,000 production units. At Fung IoT he owns circuit and board design, firmware and communication.

  • Uğur Özkan

    Uğur Özkan

    Mechanical and production engineer

Mechanical design, enclosures and assembly, production readiness. He manages the step from prototype to series production and the field installation, so the device works in the factory, not just on the bench.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is 12 km achievable everywhere?

No. 12 km is reachable in open terrain with a high antenna; in a city, between buildings, range is shorter. Once we have seen your site we will give you a realistic distance.

Do we need a SIM card or a monthly fee?

LoRa communication between devices needs no SIM card or operator subscription. If the data has to reach the internet, only the gateway needs a connection.

What kind of data can LoRa carry?

LoRa is for small, infrequent packets: sensor values, alarms, status, meter readings. It is not suitable for video or large files.
